kushiage and kushiyaki!

Kuishinbo Tsukasa is a 30-second walk from the North Exit of Fuchinobe station in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. This popular izakaya is best known for its kushiage (deep-fried meat and vegetable skewers) and kushiyaki (fried meat and vegetable skewers) but other dishes on offer, such as sashimi and beef tendon stew, also come highly recommended. This izakaya is well-stocked with nihonshu (sake) and shochu to suit every palate and complement every dish. Choose and enjoy!
The izakaya has both counter seating and tatami rooms to accommodate larger groups (with legroom under the tables, so don't worry if you are unable to sit Japanese style!). If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, you've found it. Come eat, drink, and enjoy yourself!

The Secret to Delicious Food

Delicious Food

We use only the best ingredients

① Our beef, pork, and chicken are locally sourced. We use only foie gras from France. Our basashi (horse sashimi) is brought directly from Kyushu.
② Fish and shellfish are shipped directly from Izu to our izakaya. All have been carefully examined, selected, and purchased by shopkeepers who visit the fish market every day. We make sure to select the most delicious seafood and vegetables according to the season.

Kushiuchi

The Secret to Great Kushiuchi

On every skewer, ingredients should be used as soon as possible to ensure taste and freshness. Day in, day out, prepare kushiuchi (skewers) with wholehearted attention to detail.
These can be either fried or deep-fried, depending on the ingredients.

The Secret of Our Salt

The Secret of Our Salt

The secret of salt We only use pure salt from a remote salt lake in Mongolia. In the distant past, a great sea stretched across the great plains of Mongolia, farther than the eye could see. Eventually, over millions of years, this sea disappeared, leaving a stratum of rock salt above a reservoir of groundwater. The salt we use is from the top of this stratum, crystallized by sun and wind. Please relish the taste of this pure salt as you enjoy Tsukasa's famous kushimono (skewers).
